The name for our association has not been yet picked. As we discussed at the steering committee meeting, perhaps we should choose the name that will make the Association open to more members, not only to inhabitants of our village.
There is a proposition to name it Yarker and District Community Association. The volunteers, who were active in Yarker until early 1990's, were acting under this name and if we wish to continue their great work it would be perhaps a good idea to inherit the name as well.
